Heritage Arts Academy to present
“The Spell of Sleeping Beauty”
From the story by Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm, adapted by Vera Morris

Evilina, the wicked fairy, has cursed the baby princess Briar Rose, whom she declares will die at the touch of a spinning wheel on the day she turns sixteen. The King and Queen of Never Nod desperately attempt to protect their baby daughter by destroying all the spinning wheels anywhere in their kingdom.
However, Evilina won’t be deterred simply by a lack of spindles. She and her pet spider have plenty of wicked plans and spells, but can all her evil stop the Prince Alexander as he tries to save his true love?

Directed by Tom Garfield.
